The new Pelagos 39mm is the perfect Submariner alternative: similar enough classic design but with a much more "tool watch" vibe (pure lume material hour markers, lume bezel, much lighter, etc.), and half the price at MSRP.The Rolex Submariner and GMT-Master II feature similar Rolex Oyster bracelets, but with a few key differences. The Submariner (ref. 126610) comes equipped with a folding Oysterlock safety clasp and the Glidelock extension system.

The Submariner (not date) is the best. This is a beautiful watch and very interesting to look at. However I'd only add this to my collection as a 4th or 5th watch. This is definitely not a daily driver. The green is very hard to match with outfits.
